The Design

Mehak — meaning “fragrance” in Hindi — was designed as a tunic that captures the energy of a summer garden in full bloom. The all-over floral print on a white cotton base keeps the garment visually light and heat-reflective: white fabric reflects sunlight rather than absorbing it, making this a genuinely cooler choice for outdoor summer days. The relaxed silhouette falls mid-thigh and has a straight hem that works over leggings, straight jeans, or cotton trousers.

Fabric and Construction

Made from 100% cotton — no synthetic blending. Cotton is the right fabric for Indian summers: it absorbs moisture before feeling damp, allows air to circulate through the weave, and stays soft against skin that can become sensitive in heat. The Mehak Floral Tunic is pre-washed before dispatch to minimise post-purchase shrinkage.

Available in two sleeve options: sleeveless (maximum breathability for outdoor summer wear) and with sleeves (full-sleeve variant, preferred by women who need additional coverage at work or outdoors). In the second or third trimester, size up by one for bump accommodation. The model is 5’3″ and wears size S. Hem falls mid-thigh on the model; shorter women (below 5’2″) may find it falls closer to the knee, making it more dress-like — which also works.

Care

Machine wash cold, gentle cycle, or hand wash. Air dry in shade. Iron on medium heat while slightly damp. Do not iron directly over print — iron on the reverse side or use a pressing cloth.
